The sun rose September 22, 1966. Ricky McCalister was born in Missouri to Larry and Dorothy Smith. They were proud parents.
Ricky attended St. Louis Public Schools. He received Jesus Christ at a young age. His Aunt Jean used to come and get him, his brother, and his sister for church.
Ricky did excellent work for his mother and cousin Corrie, and for family and friends. He had five siblings, but only three grew up with him: James, Larry, and Zandra.
Ricky was a talented, outgoing person who always kept a smile. Ricky and Millercent were blessed with two children, Lil Ricky and Aaron McCalister.
Ricky was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; grandparents; his parents; two brothers; two children; and his companion, Cathryn Gill.
Ricky leaves to cherish his memories: his sisters ~ (Zandra - Anthony), Sherrone, Stacie Smith, and Cindy McCalister; his nieces ~ Shardé and Lorna; his nephews ~ Derien, Trayveone, and Anthony; his great-nieces ~ Aaliyah and Monroe; his great-great nephews ~ Cerleyo and Dingo; one great-aunt ~ Jean Blackwell; one aunt ~ Zellner McCalister; one brother-in-law ~ Anthony; and one sister-in-law ~ Sunday McCalister.
