Ruthie, although I never met Rico I felt I knew him through you since you spoke about him periodically. August 16th is my mom’s birthday and she went home to be with the Lord twelve years ago Valentines Day and it will always be a special day in my heart for that reason and also since it’s the day the Lord took your brother home. Just look to God for guidance, wisdom and understanding because God loves you all and loved Rico too. May God give you strength to reach inside your heart and rejoice in the Lord, Rico is in heaven with our father and watching over you all. I love you my friend and God loves you too. I’m here if you need me for anything. Kathy Contejean
Let not your Hearts be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If this were not true I would have told you. I go away to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you unto myself.(John 14:1-3) There are no words that we can speak that will soothe the pain in your hearts. I know that it feels like the pain will never end. I encourage you all to lean on the Lord and be strong in the power of His might He will strengthen your hearts. Ms. Ocie, Vanessa, Mae and to the entire family, We are praying that God will comfort your hearts today and in the days ahead. Please know that God sees all things & He knows all things. There is nothing that catches Him off guard. Nothing escapes His watchful eye. We will be praying with you and for you. If there is any way we can help you guys today, tomorrow, or in the days ahead please let us know. 314-600-7314. Prayerfully submitted by Vernon & Louise Jones.

On behalf of Making A Difference and Cultivated Hearts Discipleship Center we offer our condolences for the family and friends of 1 of our brothers we served on the streets. None of us are promised a tomorrow, and yesterday is gone. We need to love and support one another and encourage one another during this grieving period.
On behalf of Crossing Barriers Ministry, we are saddened by the tragic loss of one of our homeless friends. We are having a moment of silence on our podcast this weekend and the homeless community advocates have been notified.
