Ronald John Silanskas Jr.'s Obituary
Ronald John Silanskas, Jr. was born July 3, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland
to the union of Ronald John Silanskas, Sr. and Geraldine Silanskas.
Ron received his education in the Catholic School System, attending
St. Clements for the younger years, and Mount St. Joseph for high
school.
Ron moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1986 and worked with the Belridge
Police Department. He later became a Private Investigator. Ron also held
side jobs working security for both Walgreens and Shoney’s. On October
29, 1994 the Lord blessed the union of Ronald and Darlene. To this
union, DesireeMarie was born. The union between Ron and Darlene would last 27 years (28 years in October 2022.) Ron accepted Christ in his life in 1990 and attended San Francisco Temple Christian Assemble under the late Bishop Dwight H. McDaniels Jr. Later, in 2003, Ron joined Glory Temple Christian Assembly under Pastor Joseph Merritt. At Glory Temple Ron was active in the children’s ministry, cleaning ministry, Praise Team and the security ministry. He was also ordained a Deacon of the church under this ministry. Ron was a great bowler, loved steamed crabs, snowballs with marshmallows and Nascar racing. If he could get to a car show, he was there. Ron was active in his neighborhood as one of the heads of C.O.P (Citizens On Patrol.) Ron helped everyone who needed it. Ron’s presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Ron was a proud husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend. He loved and truly cherished his family and friends. Ron leaves to cherish: wife ~ Darlene; daughter Desiree` (Albert);
parents ~ Ronald Sr. and Geraldine Silanskas; sister ~ Roxanne (Vince
Sr.); and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
