Russell Brown's Obituary
Russell Brown was born on January 14, 1947 in Saint Louis, Missouri
to Frances Mae Brown Harris and Bill Harris. He was the second child
that was born out of this union. Russell departed from his loved ones
on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 4:45 a.m. while residing at a local
nursing home facility.
Russell attended a local elementary and high school here in St. Louis,
Missouri. He worked at Tension Envelope Corporation from 1965-
1993 as a machinist where he would later retire. Russell also ventured
into entrepreneurship for a while owning a laundry mat facility. A few of
his favorite pastimes were watching sports events and discussing
stats. He also loved a good meal. Russell was a kind man and always
carried the biggest smile on his face. Russell married several times in
his lifetime, but departed this life single and eligible. To know Russell,
was to love him and he was loved by many.
Russell was preceded in death by his loving parents, father Bill Harris
and mother Frances Mae Harris, his sister Patricia Ann Williams and a
twin sister that passed away at birth.
Russell leaves to cherish his memories: five brothers and five sisters-in
-law ~ William Harris (Elaine), Edgar Harris (Beverly), Maurice Harris
(Mary), Darryl Harris (Angela) and Gerald Harris (Toni); one aunt ~
Laura Wilkerson; one uncle ~ William Harris aka “Lil Baby”; and a host
of nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbors and friends.
