I send my condolences during this time of bereavement. May the very presence of God comfort you lift you up. My name is Cheryl Houser and I have known Shirley and the family since I was a kid growing up in St.Louis. We attended Nazareth Temple COGIC under the leadership of The late Elder Jones and Pastor Freddie Thompson. We along with the Clarks, Fortsons, Wilson, Granger, Martin and many others sang in the choir under the direction of John Edward Fortson Jr. Many years have passed since I moved away to California. I never once forgot about my Nazareth Temple family. I will keep the memory of Shirley alive in my heart. To Geraldine and Clarissa and the entire family along with the Nazareth Temple family, I send my love and my thoughts and prayers are with you. This is a celebration of her life well-lived.
