Stanley Foster's Obituary
Stanley Foster “Stan” was born to the union of Stanley Shaw and Shirley Allen on October 7, 1962.
Stanley was educated in the St. Louis Public School District. As a teenager he traveled selling candy and was known as the “candy man”.
He worked at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch until he became disabled.
Stanley’s heart was full of love. He was a loving husband and father to his children.
Stanley loved making people laugh and smile. He had a nickname for everybody. He would give you the shirt off his back.
Stanley was baptized and joined Greater Deliverance Church in 2016.
Stanley was called home to be God’s Angel on December 22, 2018 at 4:13 a.m.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Shaw; brother, Gregory Foster and brother-in-law, Markel Simms.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife ~ Romanda Foster; three daughters ~ Tiffany Adams (Dontez), Crystal Foster and Jasmine Foster; two sons ~ Brandon Foster and Stanley Foster, Jr.; a loving mother ~ Shirley Allen; mother-in-law ~ Cynthia Griffin; three grandchildren ~ Dontriece Adams, Deonna Adams and Dontez Adams, Jr.; four brothers ~ Donnie Foster (Marlyn), Daryl Foster, Cortez Foster and Lawrence Foster; three sisters ~ Darling Brooks, Linda Foster and Sandra Foster; one brother-in-law ~ Alfonzo Griffin (Sharonda); one aunt ~ Loraine Woodson (Charlie); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; a special friend ~ Dennis Orr; four godchildren ~ Redasia Boyd, Ameenah Simmons, Donald Hubbard and Javon Glover.
