On behave of Ulysses Pridgen, Thelma's uncle who proceeded her in death, I would like to reflect on our memories of Thelma. I am his granddaughter. Thelma moved to St. Louis with great expectations to better her life. Ulysses did his best to support all of his family members and Thelma was definitely supported. She knew where to turn and he aided her the best he could. With the support of his wife "aunt Mary" Thelma was encouraged to grow and provide for her family. I don't recall one time that she would enter our home without a very humble and gracious smile. She also mirrored her love for the Lord wherever she went. One last notable memory is her love for her sisters. Especially Edna. Thank you Thelma for always maintaining your joy for life. That joy is echoing throughout your family and friends. Audry Brown
