Theresa Smith's Obituary
Theresa Smith was born on January 21, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri,
the daughter of Maude Smith. She was the youngest of eight children:
three boys and five girls. Theresa accepted God into her life at a young
age. She attended L'Ouverture Middle School and graduated from
McKinley High School.
Theresa was employed as a Maintenance Engineer at the Omni Hotel.
She was also employed at Classey Cleaning Services as a Directors of
Maintenance and Southside Wellness as a Home Health Care Worker.
Theresa was also a Nanny for two children.
Theresa Smith was a loved and revered member of her community.
She would always go out of her way to help others, even strangers,
with a smile on her face.
Theresa held a special place in her heart for cooking (BBQing), skating,
gaming and celebrating with her sisters and brothers. Family was a
true love of hers. She loved to visit Texas Roadhouse, which was one
of her favorite restaurants.
She departed this life on January 23, 2025. She was preceded in
death by her mother, Maude Smith; brother, Robert E. Smith; sisters,
Henrietta Williams and Denise Smith; nephew, Travis L. Smith; and
great-nephew, Rolando Bolden, II.
Theresa leaves to cherish her memory: her brothers and sisters ~
James Smith, Rolander Smith, Annie Howard, and David L. Smith;
nieces, nephews, great-nephews and a host of family and friends.
