Tyieshia Tennelle McDowell's Obituary
Life Reflections Tyieshia Tennelle McDowell was born on June 28, 1978 in Saint Louis, Missouri to parents, Everlene Williams and John Conner. She was educated in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, where she attended McCluer High School. Tyieshia accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. Tyieshia began doing hair at the age of thirteen, it started with doing the neighborhood children’s hair, then family and friends and she was a licensed Cosmetologist for over thirty years, she started in shops and later transitioned to working out of her home. Before her passing, she gained her Pharmacy Tech License. She loved her children, they were her world. Tyieshia loved playing bingo, going to family events and hanging with friends. She enjoyed most of her time and was at peace the most while she slept. She departed this life on August 1, 2025. Tyieshia is preceded in death by grandparents, Naomi McDowell and Press McDowell and Katie Conner and Ed Conner and siblings Eddie McDowell and Natasha McDowell. Tyieshia leaves to cherish her memories: her children ~ Natajia McDowell and Na’Zir McDowell-Johnson; parents ~ Everlene Williams and John Conner; brother ~ Michael McDowell; brothers and sisters on her dads side of the family; along with a host of other family members and friends.
