I met Venita 16 years ago through Boeing. I will truly miss her phone calls, cards, and daily words of inspiration on Facebook. God knew what he was doing when he put me in this department of eight women. One day a co-worker was having difficulty, so we all held hands and prayed about it. From that moment on, God heard our prayers and we took the name of "Prayer Angels". Anytime anyone knew of someone who asked for prayers, one of us would put the word out. We soon realized how blessed we were because God heard our prayers and answered them. I came to know Venita and her family. She always welcomed me into her home with open arms. I watched her grandsons grow into fine young men. She was so proud of them all. Even though she had rheumatoid arthritis and suffered from pain, you'd never know it because she never complained.
Who's going to call me Glo Jean, little foot, or Ebony?
Farewell for now my dear friend until we meet again.
Gloria
