William David Finley's Obituary
William David Finley, Sr., “’Dave” was born November 22,
1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Samuel and
Alberta Finley whom both preceded him in death. Dave was
the fourth of thirteen children in which four brother,
Charles Sr., Samuel Jr., Richard and Chris and two sisters,
Viola and Charlene preceded him in death.
Dave confessed his life to Christ and was baptized at a very
early age. He attended St. Louis Public Schools and was
formerly employed with General Motors Corporation.
Dave was united in Holy Matrimony to Arlyn Jamerson. To
this union were two stepdaughters, Karen and Wanda. He
later united with Beverly Tolliver. To this union, two sons
were born, William David, Jr. and Kyle Samuel and one
stepson, Charles.
Dave was a warm, loving, caring and giving person. He was
a father figure to many. He was adored and loved by all
that came in contact with him. Dave truly had a loving
impact on his family and friends. He will forever be missed!

granddaughter ~ Kyra; two sisters ~ Geraldine (Hardy -
deceased) and Shirley; four brothers Curtis (Rose), James
(Cheryl), Freddie and John (Autria); three sisters-in-law ~
Barbara, Dorothy and Lydia; one aunt ~ Ora Bee Mills; a
host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great
nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
