Willie George Haney's Obituary
Willie George Haney was born on February 4, 1941 in
Carrollton, Alabama to George Albert and Willie Lee Haney.
He was referred to as “Will” or “Shot”.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age in Carrollton,
Alabama. Willie received his formal education at Pickens
County Training School in Carrollton, Alabama. He was a
self taught businessman. Willie retired after working in a
number of diverse industries. However he remained a savvy
businessman throughout his life.
Willie was a very private person. His hobbies included
fishing, gardening, watching boxing, YouTube and working
on mechanical equipment. His favorite flowers were peonies.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife ~
Erodita; three sons ~ Carl, Willie (Tosha) and Nathan; two
daughters ~ Shirl Graves (Mason) and Edna Mae Latham; all
except one of his children reside in the Saint Louis
Metropolitan area; Edna Mae resides in Aliceville, Alabama.
Willie, also leaves to cherish his memories ~ thirteen
grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three brothers, four
sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
