Zolly Charles Woodson's Obituary
Zolly "Charles" Woodson, Jr. was born on December 22, 1948 to
Zolly Charles and Pearline Woodson. Charles loved to be around his
family. Except on Fridays. He said Friday was his holiday. It’s not
surprising that he departed on a Friday, May 31, 2024, to enjoy THE
ultimate holiday with God.
He joined the military shortly after high school. He served as a lineman
in the U.S. Army while stationed in Vietnam. He was honorably
discharged.
After leaving the army he worked at Lincoln Industrial for 42 years. He
was initially an inspector. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in
Industrial Engineering, he was promoted to a quality engineer.
He loved life and loved his family. He spent a lifetime, 57 years, with his
loving wife Lorraine.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Lorraine; his sister
Jacqueline (Denver) Carroll; his sister-in-law ~ Shirley Allen; his "bonus
sister" ~ Brenda Davis; his son ~ Antwoin “Tony” (Crystal) Flynn; his
"bonus son" ~ Kevin Johnson and Stacy Clark; his daughters ~
Christina (Cedric) Reynolds and Charlene (Eric) Bailey; his grandsons ~
Jason Holliman, Christian Sanders-Woodson, Joshua Reynolds,
