Our History

 McClendon Mortuary opened its doors in the fall 2011 as a family owned and operated funeral establishment. Our goal is to make every family that walks through our doors to feel at home. We  have over 50 years of combined bereavement experience in our staff and funeral directors. The staff of McClendon Mortuary is trained to treat every person with the highest level of dignity and respect. It's an honor to be able to serve our community and we at McClendon Mortuary view the funeral industry not just as a business, but as a ministry.

Jason McClendon

Jason McClendon, Funeral Director/Embalmer - Proprietor

Responsible for:

Maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of our on site preparation room.
Ensuring that every families loved one in our care is treated with the highest level of dignity.
Daily record keeping of preparation room log books

To give each family a lasting and uplifting memory picture of their loved one


Audrey  Jackson

Audrey Jackson, Communication Coordinator

Responsible for:
Coordinating and maintaining records for McClendon Mortuary
Support staff in assigned project based work
Interviews callers, arranges appointments and handles office details
Assigns projects to staff as needed; develops and places in operation special procedures

Motivation:
God gave us his Love: Therefore we want to give what God has blessed us with, "Love"
