I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I will think of you in silence
I will often speak your name, all I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memories is my keepsake
which I will never part.
God has you in his keeping.
I have you in my heart.
I LOVE YOU UNCLE SONNY

In loving memories of my uncle, “Sunny”, who has been exemplary as a loving, supportive gentle man unto me. He loved me O’ so tenderly… gently, warmly, and caringly. He would correct, listen, and direct me.
His words of love ring out in my heart, mind, and soul because his words were filled with patience and encouragement. Thank you my dear cousins and family for sharing your father and brother’s love with me.
Thank you, Uncle Sunny, for being you and allowing me to be me. Thank you for listening to my invisible tears, metaphorically. Thank you for hearing my unspoken words that sometimes left me spiritually limping. Thank you for allowing me to lean and nestle in your arms although long distantly. Thank you for your open honesty…
Though at times correction was difficult to hear and even more difficult to embrace when opposite of my natural, innate being-ly, you never allowed me to walk away with my head hung down, exemplifying that of the defeated-ly. Thank you for being a “Sunny” part of my life. I have enjoyed sharing, loving, and conversing with you monthly. Yes, I will miss talking with you. I will see you in our heavenly home. We will walk, laugh, and talk about the glory of a King by name, Jesus, and a Father that loved us so, He gave His son for you and me. Thank you, Jehovah, for my Uncle Sunny. Teena
