Saying goodbye to someone we love is heartbreaking and words can never express the sadness that we feel but the memories that we shared with J-Rock will hopefully bring us all some comfort during these times.
I am so thankful for the memories that I shared with J-Rock at the family functions and on the baseball field. Two things we could always depend on; J-Rock eating all of the potato salad and J-Rock being at every baseball game and practice doing his part to teach our boys the game of baseball. When a kid made a good pitch, he would always yell “keep it in the pocket” or the short but loud scream when a kid made a good play or covering his face with his hand when our boys made a bad play. The St. Louis Blue Jays will miss you and all you did for the team.
J-Rock is the definition of authentic. He said what he meant and did what he said. He always managed to see the best in people and was never one to gossip.
Mrs. Huffmon, Sherri, and Jamarion please know that I am here to support you all in any way as you process this major change in your lives.
