On June 19th of this year, I was going past Katherine's house while on my evening walk. She was on her front porch. She waved to me and said something. I couldn't make out what she said so I walked up to speak with her. We ended up sitting on her porch and talking like old friends. It was the first of several visits I enjoyed with her. We had both lost our husbands in 2021 and had that experience in common. But mostly we sat and laughed about a lot of things. She was a very sweet friend and I will miss her very much. My condolences to her family. Jane Muncy
