Develon Robinson
Hello, everone. I'm Levoia's nephew, Develon. Aunt Levoia was a pillar of my childhood and young adult life. There are numerous stories I could tell but onebin particular that I will share...
Way back in 1990, during my Senior year of high school, I was the proud recipient of Who's Who of American High School Students award. My picture and a brief biography was featured in a book along with thousands of other students who achieved academically, athletically and musically. I was eager to show this award to my auntie after church one Sunday and when she saw it she told me how proud she was of me. Little did I know, the next comment she would make would change my life forever! She said, "Dev, I bet you could find you a wife in that book!". We both laughed real hard at that notion as she dropped me off at home. That night, though, with her words still ringing in my mind, I looked through the book and saw a young lady named Genea McDaniel. Through much effort, I was able to meet Genea and after four years we were married. This December we'll celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. We have 9 children (4 boys and 5 girls). Auntie Levoia was there for our wedding and she met all of her grand neices and nephews before she passed. I love you, Auntie Levoia and am forever grateful for everything you've done for me.
