I met Mrs. Gilmore through my son, Channing. Jordan had invited him to a birthday party when they were in elementary school together. They have remained friends to this day. Channing called her Mama. I became a friend and admirer of Mrs. Gilmore. She never let anything get her down and was a fighter to the end. During her reign as President of the PTA for East Middle in the Hazelwood school district, she made so many wonderful things happen for the student body. She made sure the basketball team had something to eat after school before their games. I as a parent really appreciated that so much. The students love her and so do we. Channing and I will truly miss her. She was such a wonderful person.

As I sat there today at the visitation I saw so much love and joy. Ricky I know how much Linda will be missed but I know God and his earthly Angel's will be there for you, Jordan and Ronnie. She was pure joy no doubt.
Pray God lightens our family and friend's hearts during such a tragic season. Cousin, you were extremely funny and I will always remember your beautiful smile.
