Mrs. Linda Gilmore, 's Obituary
Linda Gilmore was born December 10, 1965 in St.
Louis, Missouri to Rosemary Daugherty and Allen Larkin. She
was later adopted by Robert Daugherty who preceded her in
death.
Linda was an excellent student who excelled in school from
grade school all the way through High School. Linda
graduated from Hazelwood Central High School, where to
this day she holds a record in Track. After High School Linda
worked a number of jobs until she started working for
Graham Packaging, where she would meet her husband
Ricky Gilmore. She worked there until she retired due to
illness.
Linda then began to volunteer with the Hazelwood School
District, during her son's years in school. She was named
Hazelwood's Volunteer of the Year, four years straight and
was nominated for Fox 2 News “Pay It Forward”, and won
$500.00 which she spent buying the school mats for the gym
and things for their music room. That's the kind of generous
spirit that she shared with her family, friends and everyone
she came into contact with regardless of if she knew them.
Linda was a devoted and loving wife of 26 years to her
husband Ricky Gilmore and a loving and devoted mother to
her sons Ronald and Jordan. Her husband and son's were
her everything, she loved them beyond infinity.
Linda fought cancer and won and when it came back a
second time, Linda fought long and hard to Kick Cancers Ass
again and through her fight she continued to be a blessing to
her family and friends.
