To Vern's beloved family and friends,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Vern's passing. As someone who had the privilege of knowing him through our recovery journey together, I wanted to share my heartfelt condolences with you all. In our time together at Celebrate Recovery and NA, Vern showed remarkable courage, honesty, and compassion. Hís commitment to recovery inspired many of us, and his friendship meant more than words can express. The strength he showed throughout his journey touched all of our lives.
I know that no words can ease the pain of your loss, but please know that Vern's impact extended far beyond what you may have seen. He made a difference in our recovery community, and that legacy will continue to live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know him.
